Mise En Scene aiming to run at Sandown on 20th August
James Ferguson said this morning;
"Mise En Scene is in good form, she's weighing 463 kilos so she's lost about six kilos in the last week which is good.
She's tightening up and getting up the hill very strongly and those running reins have certaintly helped her shape behind.
I was having a good chat with Mikey Hills (ex top jockey and work rider) the other day about her and we decided to work her from the front this week just because she doesn't seem to want to chase down the lead horse so much.
We were very impressed with how she worked on the Cambridge Road gallop, they worked over 7 furlongs and she had a horse next to her, very highly rated and she wasn't going to let him past.
So I think that's the way to ride her, espeically to start off with over a mile if we decide to go to the Atlanta Stakes at Sandown on 20th August, certainly feel that will cut out the flat spot as well and in an ideal world you'd get to the front and be able to dictate and hold them up round the bend then kick off the bend knowing she stays further, I think it's a good starting point."
