Potters Corner's trainer Christian Williams said today;

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Potters Corner back in action tomorrow for his seasonal reappearance at Warwick. He enjoyed a great summer and has never come back into training looking so well. His training has been very good showing all his old enthusiasm and everyone who has ridden him at home has been pleased with him.

With the cross-country race at Cheltenham cancelled last week, I decided to go for this race instead as it will qualify him for the Veterans' Final at Sandown in January which could be a nice option for him later in the season. It's a valuable race for horses with a similar profile as him.

As with most of my horses, they do seem to benefit for a run so I do expect him to go forward fitness wise after tomorrow but still on his homework, he should run a good race. This will be a steppingstone to Cheltenham next month for the cross-country race he was beaten a nose in last year.

Jack Tudor takes the ride who knows him inside out, so fingers crossed he shows us he retains plenty of his old ability and enthusiasm and runs a good race."
