Riot Curragh Race Preview

RIOT is declared to run in the Hollywoodbets Daily Boosts Handicap at the Curragh tomorrow at 4.12pm.

Riot makes his seasonal reappearance tomorrow at the Curragh and Johnny Murtagh is very happy with him going into the race. A hugely competitive race with 23 runners, however this is a good starting point for Riot to kick start his season. 

He has bigger targets later on this season with a focus being on Royal Ascot and Johnny Murtagh has reported he will come on slightly for the run tomorrow but is fit and well and is expected to run well. 

Johnny Murtagh said,

"Riot is in great form. I'm looking forward to running him tomorrow and it's the right sort of race to get him going in for the season ahead. Whatever he does tomorrow he'll improve on but he's ready to go and I expect him to run well. 

Royal Ascot is our ultimate aim as was the plan with Create Belief last year so we'll pick and choose our races carefully but fingers crossed he goes and runs a big race tomorrow. Ben Coen rides who knows him well."
